High-Altitude Preparedness Notice

• Acclimatization & Altitude: Since Mount Kailash reaches altitudes over 5,650m (Dolma La Pass), proper hydration and acclimatization are vital.
• Permits & Visas: Group visa and Tibet travel permit processing are fully managed by Kailash Base Camp. Your passport must have at least 6 months validity.
• Weather & Flight Flexibility: Mountain flight sectors are weather-dependent. It is highly advised to include 1 or 2 buffer days.
• Lake Bathing Guidelines: A direct dip in Lake Mansarovar is prohibited; our crew can bring holy water to the shore for puja.

High altitude permits and ground reservations are highly regulated. Any extra cost arising due to unforeseen blockages, visa/permit rule updates, landslides, extreme weather flight delays, or natural disasters shall be borne by the traveler.
